My wife and I played here today, in fact we play this course at least once/week as its not far from our house. This year is a great improvement on previous years, guess better maintenance and much more rain. The fairways are good, although not the best type of grass. The greens, a tiny bit hard, but good to putt on. Not a difficult course, but you do need to be straight off the Tee on some holes. Good value for money. On Wednesday and Friday the course is slightly shorter, two holes are rotated We nearly always join up with other groups and meet many interesting people, sometimes a different group on each nine. Generally its all Thais who play, many retired and their game is of a good standard so play is quite fast. Sometimes you get a slow group, the caddies know and if they can they change the order of play to speed it up. Something I find a little unethical but it does work. Cant comment about weekend play as dont play.

Nine holes only. Asian grass is used predominantly on this course making lies very ugly and thin. Play is the slowest of all the courses in Thailand. However for a few hundred baht it is actually OK. And since most of the players are local government staff, they are a fun bunch to play with. Don't take it seriously...sanook!

I was not expecting much from this course after reading the comments below, however I was pleasantly surprised. The caddies my group and I had were excellent. The course is in great condition right now (Feb.) The greens were some of the best I've played on; fast and testing. Although only nine holes, they are rotated frequently, some have two greens, alternative tee boxes, etc. so interest is not lost. The course is very near my house and not expensive, so I wish I had discovered it sooner. The only downside is the length of time to complete a round. There are a great many 5 balls and with only nine holes, delays are inevitable. We were subjected to the pecularly Thai custom of "call hole" on all the par threes - has anyone timed how much time this dangerous practice saves, if any? There are numerous food and drink stalls around the course and they serve delicious food, just as well, as without them, I would have been extremely hungry. All in all the experience was a good one, but pencil in the full day, no chance of a quick 18 before lunch!
