SILVIS, Ill. -- Kenny Perry beat Brad Adamonis and Jay Williamson in a playoff to win the John Deere Classic and escape with his third victory in five starts after bogeying the 18th hole on Sunday.

Perry had a one-stroke lead at 17-under through 17 only to lose it thanks to some poor shots from the fringe on the final hole of regulation. He and Williamson then watched as Adamonis, the PGA TOUR’s oldest rookie at 35, missed an 18-foot putt for birdie that would have won it in regulation and given him his first victory.

BETHESDA, Md. -- Anthony Kim saved his diamond-studded “AK” belt buckle for the final round, then turned in a gem Sunday in the AT&T National to affirm his status as a rising star.

Three shots behind going into the final round, the 23-year-old Kim emerged from the pack with consecutive birdies around the turn at Congressional and closed with a 5-under 65 for a two-shot victory over Fredrik Jacobson.

GRAND BLANC, Mich. -- Kenny Perry joined a short list of multiple champions at the 50th Buick Open.

Perry shot a 6-under 66 on Sunday to finish at 19-under 269, one shot better than Woody Austin, who blew the tournament and $900,000 by bogeying the last two holes, and Bubba Watson, who missed a 12-footer on the final green.

Vijay Singh has three victories at Warwick Hills. Tiger Woods, Julius Boros, Tony Lema and now Perry have won twice.
